Well, I fooled around in The GIMP a few days working on a computer wallpaper for Mother’s Day for Mom. I used a poem from Brother Mark Bullen’s website (‘DEAR MOTHER‘), two different flower cliparts, and I cropped Mom out of a picture we took of her.
This is what it turned out to look like:

She really liked it, too.
I thought it looked pretty good. Her favorite color is either pink or purple, I can never remember, so I just used both.
What do you think of it?

What a wonderful tribute to your mother!
This was awesome! The poem is wonderful…and truthful as well!
Did your mama cry when you presented it to her?
I gave my mom 4 DVD’s she wanted (on sale for $5 each) and 2 gift cards…one to Red Lobster and one to Olive Garden..her fav. places.
Bless you!
I tried to surprise her with it, by putting it on her computer when she wasn’t in the room, but she saw it too quickly.
She smiled and thanked me, but didn’t cry.
