The guinea keets have now been moved to their permanent home — the rooster pen. Which means the chicks have been kicked out and now they get to stay in the hen pen with the rest of the older hens.. we get to move them there tonight.
They are still a bit hesitant about the pen, but they will get used to it since that is where they will be staying from now on.
I’m not sure what I’m going to do with Danny tonight. I will probably have to put him in on of the rooster cages.. or I might try him for a while in the hen pen with Dove and Puffy Puffy, but I don’t want him chasing them two or hurting them.
I was busy taking pictures ( of course
), and had one of the little hens, Ruth, posing for me. Danny heard her squawking and came running to see what her problem was! In this picture, to me, he just looks like a t-rex!
I took more pictures of Ruth than that, but instead of posting them all, I just figured I’d post a few of the best.
She was letting me pet her, touch her beak, and all. LOL. I did get a good picture of Jacob, too… and a pretty white flower!
Mom is now busy ripping out sleeves of her some of her dresses that she can’t wear with the sleeves in it, to make more jumpers for her too. Jumpers, in my opinion, are much more comfortable!
Well, this is the end of this post, because I have to go fold socks!!
