Probably by now everyone has noticed my new blog header image.
How does it look? That is actually a picture I took of one of Mom’s Impatients. Well, actually that’s two pictures, I had to put them together in the GIMP.
I’m writing this using ScribeFire, which is a extension for my Firefox browser that lets me post to the blog without having to go through the dashboard and stuff. I just want to make sure it works right.
The little hens are doing great, and are adapting nicely to the hen pen. Levi and I aren’t hardly having any trouble getting them in at night. They are starting to go right in with the other hens. I let Jacob in with them at night, but I have to keep Danny in one of the rooster cages, much to his dislike.
The guinea keets are also doing well. They’ve been ‘chirping’ a lot today, especially when we were putting the animals in their pens. And they were doing it quite loudly too. LOL. I think they scared Jack, because they were running from one end of the rooster pen to the other!
I posted the first chapter of The Martyr of the Catacombs, and I’ll be posting more of it, since I found it on Gutenberg. And, by the way, you could go to Gutenberg to read it if you don’t want to wait for the chapters on my blog.
They have the whole book on there, too. Dad has started to read the book too.
