Ramblings..

Well… Dad had thought there must be a turtle in the garden, the way the tomatoes kept getting ‘bit into’, but I found out it was one of our black hens, Becky. She found a way around the partial fence and decided to have a little feast on our tomatoes, and try to get some of Gabriel’s food while she was at it.

If she keeps this up, we ain’t going to have any good tomatoes left!

Red Flower

This is one of the red flowers that has bloomed beside the white ones, and where the darker ones used to be before they died. So far the colors that have bloomed on different flower plants are dark purple, light purple, red, and white! The flowers are so beautiful, I wish they would last longer.

Dove and Puffy Buffy are getting along great with the little guineas, which I didn’t think would happen. I think Dove knows what they are, because she appears to be trying to be really friendly with them.. even letting them peck her beak! Which she certainly didn’t allow the little hens to do. Without the two lame hens in with the others, Danny is doing just fine. Jacob pretty much keeps him under control.

I think it is funny that the little guineas are so much more friendly than the little chickens were. They’re not even afraid of me! I can go right in with them and sit down, and they all come around me, not the least little bit afraid. Tiny is still growing, and he’s still a bit slower than the others, but he is more fearless than all the rest of them. He’s not even afraid of Gabriel!

Tomorrow Levi & I have to go to the dentist again. Levi gets to have a filling and a crown done, and I’m just going for my braces consultation or something like that. And this time, I am certainly taking a book with me!

I must be sitting at this keyboard wrong, I’ve never typed so many words wrong at one time. LOL. It took me a long time to post this, just because I had to correct all my misspelled words!!
