Grasshoppers, Mushrooms, and Toads

We have a dog that barks at grasshoopers, mushrooms, and hoppy toads…..

Gabriel

Gabriel

He barks when there is a grasshopper in front of his pen, a strange looking mushroom in the field, or a hoppy toad in the yard. Strange puppy!

And on top of that, my little hens have gotten a sudden liking to flying on me. Just yesterday one flew up on my head while I was bending over to pick up Jacob. Then a couple days before, Ruth flew up on my back while I was catching Danny. What is wrong with them? LOL.

We learned a lesson in the garden this year… You always have to cage tomatoes. We tried them without the cages this year, so they would be easier to pick. Yeah, they are easier to pick if you ever come across one worth picking! The tomatoes are just laying on the ground and rottening up so fast. We’ve only got a couple good ones out of it so far. :(

Mom wants to clean out Woofie’s old dog pen, where the turkeys are now. We need to put them back in their normal pen (or… get rid of them..), clean it up, and she said Dad needs to spray it with his bugspray so we can get completely rid of the lice in there, (if that will kill it?) so we can start putting Gabriel in that pen. It’s so much bigger than his normal pen, and it’s got grass and moss for him to play in, and it’s a lot shadier.

And, my new Scripture Wallpaper I made by request for Danielle. I really like it. :) I haven’t gotten a response from her yet, but I hope she does too!!

Isaiah 26:3-4

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
