What Am I? #13 and Poll

What Am I?

  1. I have been likened to the spirit of a man, the Law and the salvation for those who love God.
  2. Exodus gives explicit directions for making seven of my kind in gold which were to be used around the ark

The one I picked for this week may be a little bit harder than the previous ones, so it may take a bit more guessing! ;)

  1. I like the poll thingy! You picked a very good question to start off with! This is a basic fundamental that all Christians should know. The Bible says that “sin” is a transgression of the law, not something we are born with. Sin has to do with choice, not something you inherit. “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (1 John 3:4)

Preachers today pull verses out of context to try and prove this false doctrine that all babies are born sinners. This is anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-truth, and anti-common sense!

The only thing mankind inherits is the curse of “death” from Adam. (Rom. 5:12)

The early Christians and Anabaptists knew infants were innocent. Why do you think all the protests went on about infant baptisms against the Catholics?? Baptisms weren’t necessary as infants couldn’t choose to do good or evil. Sin is all about “choice” not physical makeup. Just ask Satan!

  2. Obviously, though, Christians disagree on this. I don’t believe in Children already being born sinners, but my mother – who basically taught Calvin his theology – does. Interestingly, I baptise infants and she’s against it!

  3. I’m going to say “lamp” but I might need another clue

  4. Your answer is correct, Amber! It is indeed “Lamp”. :)
